arrival in sunny Scotland - no joke!

We've arrived to unexpectedly glorious weather in Edinburgh. There were even people sunbathing in Princes Street gardens. Much to the delight of the students we climbed through the winding "closes" and stairways of medieval Edinburgh to our hostel.

After resting and freshening up we headed off to the shishi Grassmarket area for dinner. Students were offered magnificent views of the castle and had some free time to explore this old part of town.

This morning the students have prepared their own brreakfasts organised into groups. They are all taking it in turns to cook and tidy up. On the menu this morning were sausages, scrambled eggs and bacon prepared by Guen, Karolina, Jenny, Grace and Nastasja. The boy group did a great job of washing up. Cheers Patrik, Yuan, Rob and David.

We just getting ready to head off for today's programme - the National War Museum, the Stevenson Walking Tour and our theatre night to see Regeneration.
